The double page spread problems

I was talking to my other teacher Mr.Jones today. He wanted to go through my double page spread with me and discuss and solve some issues with the two pages. The problems he raised were similar to Mr.Gallop's. The problems were:

• The blue banner is too big
• The picture of the band dancing looks like a snap shot
• Dead space
• The way the band mixes in with the background in the main picture

After we had discussed the problems, I started to solve some of them with some of his advise. These are the changes I made:

• I made the big blue banner smaller
• Edited the small picture and slanted it. I also put another one in with the same effects on it so it turned into a style and not a snapshot
• Added an extra column into the dead space
• I found another pciture exactly the same as the main picture above, apart from the surroundings aren't as bold. I am currently editing this

I will post the updated version of my double page spread as soon as I finish editing the main picture.
